Overall the service was fine, it is the way Acura does business that sucks. First off how do you do an oil change and not change the oil filter? I know Acura states, Service A, oil change no filter, it just boggles my mind thinking the one component that is supposed to protect and clean your oil does not get replaced. Second is the service lot where I dropped my car off is not at the dealer, they take your car down the road about 5 minutes away to another lot, that just does not sit right with me and probably a bunch of other folks. Third and last is the loaners are really backed up, so they get you a lift or Uber that may make you late to anywhere you need to be. Bottom line is things were OK just nothing to brag about, can definitely make this a better experience

Such a great dealership! I was very nervous thinking of going into a car dealership, but this place wasn’t at all how I imagined. John Shea was our salesperson and from the first phone call inquiry he was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of the questions I had and felt he was very honest and upfront. When we met for our appointment to look at the car, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He was not pushy at all and made us feel comfortable. We also met the general sales manager, Lance Edmond who was just as awesome as John. He worked with us and helped get a good price for my trade-in. Then we worked with Collin Flores in their finance department who was great as well. Not pushy at all, but informative and helpful. Overall, can’t recommend them enough!! Ask specifically if you can work with these folks!

I found out the hard way that these discount car sites like Costco don’t’ tell you up front what dealerships they are sending your requests to BEFORE it is sent out… you don’t get to choose. And my request went out to a dealership way outside my neighborhood. So I was getting responses from different dealers , just not close – up to two hours away. I decided to meet with the recommended dealer as it appeared the car I was looking for was in stock. I met with them, but the car was actually “in-Transit”, due in a couple of weeks. Just before this appointment, I was contacted by Kellie Davis (Acura South Bay, 5 minutes from my home!). I did not have an appointment, but decided to stop by. She was busy but was assisted by her partner Min Cho. I explained that I just test drove a car at the other dealership, but stopped by here because I wanted to do business with my neighborhood dealer. They also did not have the MDX A-Spec on the lot I was looking for but gave me a test drive in a similar car. While on the test drive they (manager, and Kellie) were able to locate the car I was looking for (model and color), and by the time I got back they were ready to trade (dealership to dealership) to get the car – note, I did not ask them to try to locate the car today! They took it upon themselves. I was ready to buy so we agreed on the price and options, arranged for financing and made the deal. It was all very low pressure and more of a conversation, than a high pressure sales which I appreciated very much. Min was great and did a fantastic job showing the car and going over the sales. I also have to give props to Kellie who picked up the car and had it there that night. All-in-all, the dealership did a fantastic job. This is the kind of place I want to do business with, and I did!

I called Mr. Ravaglia after seeing various system failure messages on my dashboard. He said that it was likely a battery failure, a jump start should start my Acura TLX and, with that or a tow, he would have my car serviced that day. The jump start worked, so I drove to the AutoNation service department. Ravaglia had a new battery installed and my TLX checked out, so I was soon back on the road. I have relied on Mr. Ravaglia for years, and he has always delivered. The service department at AutoNation is great; although the barrage of unwanted e-mail solicitations, including making service appointments I did not want, are a great nuisance. Apparently, I have to provide my e-mail address to provide this well-deserved rating for Mr. Ravaglia. If it results in any unwanted e-mail from Edmunds, I will never rate on Edmunds again and discourage my family and friends from doing so.

I found myself with unexpected car problems and nervously drove to the nearest Acura dealership to drop off the car on a Sunday evening. The night drop process was easy. I got a call the very next morning and the service coordinator was helpful. The Service department has modern communication tools that most consumers appreciate - texting status updates, estimates and online payment information. All-in-all, the process was convenient, friendly, and my car’s issues professionally and competently resolved that day. Way to go! While no one wishes for mechanical issues, I’m very glad for the capable team at AutoNation. Thank you!

The selling experience was great. The sales Rep, GM and Finance Mgr. made the process enjoyable. As for vehicle inspection, I would say make sure they show the actual vehicle inspection checklist. My vehicle was missing all 4 floor mats, and the door latch to the electric cover was broken. And lastly I noticed when I started to use the AC the vehicle has a smell that shows the previous owner was a smoker. Luckily I have a vehicle protection package I purchased, however still a bit annoying that this was missed by the service member who inspected the vehicle. Overall the service is 5 stars, vehicle selection is amazing. Just make sure you do the inspections prior to driving off, because it doesn’t appear the dealer will be calling you to fix the issues you brought to there attention. Would I purchase my next vehicle here? 1000% yes. Why? Because this dealer has good selection vehicles, great service (Sales, Management) and has great relationships with there banks.

having lost the use of my air conditioner while in the 110 degree, I was grateful to have Autonation efficiently make the repair. The quality is hard to evaluate so soon after the work was done. The Autonation facility is still appearing temporary as they complete ther on going move to their new location.

I want to thank your company for an absolutely wonderful shopping experience. They made the purchase experience easy from the start. Look I reside in Oceanside, CA and after discussing everything thing with them about getting to their facility, we decided to take the train. What a beautiful and relaxing 2 hour ride on the coast via Amtrak. 😎 After arriving we were met at the train station by an Uber driver, provided by the dealership. Our salesman had the day off and she was called in to work after finding out that we were in route to the dealership. She meet us at door when we arrived and proceeded with offering us a cold bottle of water. After resting for a bit we went outside to the car lot to view the Q70. It was just as the described on their website. After completing all the necessary paperwork, purchase was completed and we drove our newest vehicle home. Great experience!!!

Their new location on PCH is more spacious and has a better waiting area than their last. My service advisor, Gabby gets me in and out quickly and I really appreciate this. You need this and this, give us an hour or 2, bam! Your car’s ready, see you next year. Min sold me the car a few years back, so this review is way overdue. He’s very helpful and no pressure dealing with him. I said, Min, I want this monthly payment, can you get me there? Like sure, no problem. Numbers look good, let’s do it!

I went recently, they are in the middle of a renovation so you have to go to another site. The other site is super put together and they still offer complementary coffee and tea. Service was same as usual and it took about 2 hours for a B1 oil change. No complaints, the staff was nice and professional.

When it came to the numbers I had asked for a specific price and chazz made it happen without hesitation. I noticed the Auto-Start wasn't working all the time (failed at least 3 times), with a 'weak' starter feel. I brought my 2020 MDX to the Torrance Acura. Kelly and his team troubleshot the car as having a weak battery. Battery was changed under warranty, and the car is back to it's tip top shape. Thanks Kelly!

I dropped my car off at 9am and picked it up end of day at 5pm. Absolutely nothing was done to repair or provide a diagnosis for the issues reported. On top of that, when I received the vehicle I found scratches on the passenger side mirror with a pea sized chip on the paint above the passenger side tire that was touched up with a marker as if an attempt to cover it up was made. I thoroughly inspected my vehicle before purchasing it about a week prior and know that chip/scratch was not there. I cannot prove it, as I do not have pictures of the vehicle before dropping it off, but the gentleman who checked in the vehicle took pictures of the vehicle when I dropped it off. Interesting thing is the areas that I believe were damaged when in their possession were not shown in any of the pictures that were taken.

Wonderful, fantastic experience here! My husband and myself decided to take a look at a 2023 MDX on a whim and pretty much fell in love on the spot. Manny welcomed and assisted us with a test drive and described all the great features. It just happened to be toward the end of the month and we figured even though we weren't in a rush necessarily, we liked Manny & wanted to give him a win to close out March. He kept in touch throughout the week and worked with us the best he could on the finances. On the day we went in for the car & paperwork, we met Nathan who couldn't have been more helpful. We were in a bit of a time crunch, and he was super accommodating and understanding. So much so that we ran out of time and they DELIVERED the car to us later in the day (to Santa Monica during rush hour nonetheless)! The 'buying a new car' process is typically dreadful and dragged out, but this one was truly so smooth and delightful - never pushy or slimy. Thank you AutoNation Acura South Bay and special shout out to Manny & Nathan!!!

I have been going to this dealer for more than 20 years. I've purchased multiple cars there and always have them serviced at the dealership as well. Recently I had to make an "emergency" service appointment, My technical advisor, Steven Wilson, called me immediately to ensure I was safe (I was stranded with a dead battery) and that everything would be taken care of ASAP. The entire service department was welcoming and knew me by name when I arrived. I cannot say enough good things about them!

My Acura ILX was having issues with one of the headlights, but Kelly took care of the problem right away. The parts that were needed came in on time and the service itself took less than 2 hours so I was very pleased with the service. The car looks brand new again! But this might be my last. I will also tell my friends and family about this experience. Long story short. Bought 2023 MDX on 2/13/23, next day purchased all weather floor mats and trunk liner ($590+). My wife and I were not satisfied with the accessory purchase and attempted to return them (3/3/23). Parts only took the parts that had a box. And 3rd floor mat and trunk liner (both of which were never used, installed but immediately removed because we didn't like them) but unfortunately we didn't have the "plastic" because it was probably thrown away when we installed them on site after purchase. Anyways, now I'm stuck with 2 items that cost over $200 and couldn't get my money back because of a technicality. I believe purchasing a vehicle comes full circle, on my second car purchase (2021 RDX) finance department dropped the ball 2x. I let that go and still gave a good review (5 stars). Still hoping for a better experience, we bought 2023 MDX, sales good, finance a little pushy but good enough, parts, initially the best at selling the product but when it came down to making it right, big fail. Very expensive lesson learned.

These guys were straight forward and easy to deal with. I dealt with a lot of shenanigans with car dealerships near my house, and when I couldn’t find the color I wanted locally, I went out of state and bought a Certified Used Acura from South Bay. They ended up splitting the shipping cost with me, and when you factor in California’s super-cheap $85 state mandated Doc Fee ( other states typically charge from a few hundred to as much as a $1000), it only cost me a few hundred dollars to get the car I wanted. And since it is a Acura Certified car,I can have it serviced at any Acura dealership. After just about giving up on a finding a low miles, Certified used Apex Blue TLX ASpec, I’m glad I held out and got the car I wanted.

I had seen a 2014 ILX 2.4 Premium with a manual transmission at another Autonation Store in Northern California. I didn't want to make the 6 hour one-way, 12 hour round trip to go look at it and purchase it, so called Acura Southbay to see if they could sell a used car from a sister-dealership in the Autonation group. It was possible and the vehicle was shipped down to Los Angeles. Financed through my credit union and none of the dealerships lenders could beat the APR I was offered. First dealership car buying experience after only private party sales, but wasn't too much of a hassle for me.

Excellent service on my Acura 2006 RL as always. But the best part of my experience is my Service Advisor, Kelly Gilbertson is very informative and interactive. Update: 8/6/21: Another great service appt. Aside from the 120K mile service they also replaced the glove box which was melting. The glove box for that model of Acura RL's were known for "melting." Same thing happened on my wife's Lexus is-250. Regardless, they replaced and looks new again. Kelly Gilbertson continues to be a great service advisor and he is the reason I don't go anywhere else. Update 12/30/22: My 2006 RL had another top notch service appointment with Kelly Gilbertson who's always on top of things. My car had the front brakes replaced that were shuddering and engine mounts replaced. This was in addition to the normal B12 maintenance. Thanks for keeping my car running impeccably even with 143,000 miles.

Chazz and Lance were very amiable. The reason for the 3 star is that I bought a 2018 Acura ILX w/Premium Package. As it was a certified pre-owned and supposed to have had a 182 point inspection. After the first day my battery was dead. Upon looking at the battery terminals and having the battery tested, it was clear that a battery load test had not been performed, #120 on the 182 point inspection checklist. Received a new battery from Acura South Bay. Makes me wonder what other tests had not been performed that were signed off as being checked.

I was undecided between The Honda Civic Hatchback Sport Touring and the Integra with tech package. If I was going to buy The Honda I wanted boost blue and with the Integra I was undecided between 3 colors: blue, red, or black. Honda had too many add ons and the staff wasn't that welcoming. Acura was so different. Manny was helping me out and I didn't feel pressured to buy the car. I really loved that. I had already been to this dealer to look at the Integras in person. When I went they didn't have the color I wanted. I kept checking CarGurus to see if there was new stock and yesterday a black Integra had just arrived at Acura Torrance. I asked the sales guy [Manny] if it really was in stock and he said yes! I test drove the car and saw the numbers. After they checked my credit score the numbers were a bit lower compared to the estimate, so I ended up leasing an Acura Integra with tech package. The car only had 3 miles when I test drove it. Now it has 75! I have really enjoyed driving the car. It has so many features. I'm so happy!

I purchased my 2002 RSX and 2008 TSX here (brand new) back when they were known as Power Acura. I shopped around at least 6 different dealers but Power provided the best price both times. They also have reasonable prices for maintenance which is why I make the trip out here from the San Fernando Valley. Unfortunately, this time we ran into a hiccup. I came in for service to replace the rear brake pads which was reasonably priced. The issue I had came was my broken passenger side fog light. I noted it to the service rep and she quoted me around $125, seemed over priced but I wanted it fixed. The service took about 5 hours total and AutoNation offered free Lyft service so we just went to a local restaurant and walked around the area for a bit. The car was nice and clean from the courtesy car wash and we were off on our way home. To my mistake I didn't check to see if the broken fog light was fixed. I checked when I got home and it was still broken (fog light housing was still shattered). We contacted the service rep and said the fog light was broken. She noted that she though I had meant I just wanted the bulb replaced. Granted I may not have been specific when I mentioned that the fog light was broken but why would they just replace the bulb after the technician saw that the housing was shattered. In addition, the bulb did not even need to be replaced. She offered to make it right and said they would only charge for the materials of the fog light housing. She quoted the cost of the passenger side fog light housing at $500. We thought it was a mistake but she confirmed that it was indeed $500. A quick search has the price for this at $75 at the highest for OEM. Other than that issue, everything else was great. I was hesitant to write a review because of the awesome service I've had at this place but this is the 7th email I received to write a review so I just ended up writing it.

Ms. Davis was easy to work with and answered all my questions via phone and email before I even came to the lot. Once there the actual process was easy and relatively quick. At no point was I pressured by sales or finance. I left in a new car and all intentions to buy from them in the future. This is the 6th Acura our family has purchased. We have worked with other dealers in the past, but this was by fare the best experience buying a car that I have had. Ms. Davis has followed up with me multiple times offing help with any of the tech or driving feature that I was not utilizing to the fullest.

I came in to South Bay Acura because my front low beam light was out. It turned out my igniter was also out. As always , my service advisor Kellie Gilbertson, was there to help me out. The parts department was on back-order for the igniter but Kellie was able to find me one that day. I’ve been bring my TL Type S here for 21 years and have always been treated as a VIP.

The service we receive at South Bay Acura is always great. We can depend on Kelly to insure we get the right service at the right time. He’s always very thoughtful and makes sure everything is done right. Had a great experience with my lease here! I just recently leased the 2023 Acura Integra and this car is epic! What made everything so flawless is the awesome staff here. I worked with John, Collin, and Jenn and they made the transaction seamless. We waited and shopped around a little more but it turned out that AutoNation Acura South Bay’s price was the lowest in the area. Once we found the exact MDX that we wanted, we put down a hold deposit on it and were able to come and finish the purchase two days later. The purchase process went smoothly although honestly it took longer than I would have liked. I had secured a loan from my local credit union so I don’t know how their financing goes. I did appreciate that while they did make a light attempt to sway me to finance with them, there wasn’t a real hard sell. The same goes for the add ins at the end. The finance manager was easy going and made his pitches but wasn’t pushy and I was very grateful for that. Overall I would absolutely do business with AutoNation Acura South Bay again.

I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone looking for an honest sales team. I was sent an unrealistic (ie…fake) quote for an 2023 MDX while no other dealership could come close. A day later, ready to make the move, sales manager told me to come in and they’ll work something out. When i asked to confirm quote they couldn’t and sent me quotes that were $170 more then previous day. When I asked the GM Ellen about drastic price change she claimed they wanted to end month strong but since it was new month price went up. Mind you, only two days passed at this point and the delay was only because they wouldn’t confirm original quote. I was bombarded with emails from 4 different employees trying to get me to come in. I wouldn’t give them my phone number yet the salesperson searched my number and called anyway. They gave me a new quote for hundreds more a month AND for a worse model and wrong colors. (they assumed I wouldn’t realize the model they based new quote after was base FWD and not tech AWD as I wanted) I ended up going to Cerritos same day and left with a new A-Spec for a great price close to original offer. Don’t trust these people as they just want to get you in door and then take advantage of you. Happy my business went elsewhere and that i know how to spot unscrupulous people.

I had a wonderful experience at AutoNation Acura South Bay this past Saturday! Upon arrival, I was instantly greeted by every staff member that I encountered as I proceeded to the service counter. Each one said "Good Morning!" and asked if there was anything that they could do for me. I asked to see Kelly Gilbertson, and I was personally escorted to his desk. Kelly is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable service advisors that I have ever had. As a former mechanic, he explained to me all the processes and details that went along with all the services that I was considering. He was patient, thorough, and never pressured me. I ended going with a fuel injection cleaning service that he recommended, and I am extremely pleased with my decision. I would like to personally thank Kelly, and his great team, for one of the best experiences I have had at not just this dealership, but any dealership.

Absolutely horrible. They owe me $2800 and have for 3 weeks and they will not answer my calls or emails. I’ve even called corporate and they have done nothing. No manager is contacting us and nothing is being done. I do not live in LA and will have to drive up and get someone to talk to me. Once you buy your car they will ghost you completely. Their finance manager is also a pain to deal with. When financing he would NOT drop extra charges. It is absolutely ridiculous and i would not recommend dealing with them, as they will make your life harder in the long run

My first experience at AutoNation Acura South Bay was excellent. I did have a routine maintenance appointment. My service advisor Steven Ravaglia was amazing. He accepted me immediately at the time of our appointment. He estimated that the service will take 2 hours and it did. I got my car back in perfect condition, service lights taken care of and reset, and on top of everything the car just came out of car wash and was beautiful. While the car was serviced , I utilized the customer lounge which was very comfortable and has work stations, tv, coffee, water and everything you need to comfortably wait while your car is being serviced. Thank you Steve and your team for the great work. It was a pleasure having my car serviced here and I’ll be sure to come back for my next maintenance appointment.

Check in process was simple. Had an appointment and was greeted immediately by my service advisor. We went over appointment details and got the paper started. A few items to note: I mentioned the acceleration being non-responsive when cruising at freeway speeds and the doing a lane change. The service advisor listened but didn't seem to be interested in the details. There was no after visit summary. Just the usual statement that the service was completed, here is your paperwork, your car is out there. A walk through of what was done would educate the customer. Also, this would assure that whatever was brought up during the initial check in was also addressed (i.e. non-responsive acceleration). Paperwork stated nothing about the non-responsive issue being looked into. When I looked under my hood, there was transmission fluid drops in a few areas. THIS is my biggest PEEVE! Treat your customers cars like your own or better. Clean up after yourselves. There is no reason a mechanic can't wipe off the drops. It's simple and shows attention to detail. Overall, the 4 star rating, I believe, is a fair rating. I would definitely take my car back.

I've been coming here for a few years now for service. Service experience have always been good until today. It took close to 5 hours for oil change on appointment i booked more than a week ago. Kelly, the service advisor is excellent as usual, friendly, get to the point, definitely the best advisor at this dealership. 3 stars of this review is SOLELY on the dealership/management. How could they only have 1 service advisor on a Saturday, and long weekend made it worse. Kelly could only do so much which i totally understand. Tons of paperwork just for a basic oil change. Also there are on cashier at this place so kelly had to do it all. Normally, a basic oil change takes 2 to 3 hours max, definitely not 5 hours. South Bay Acura management team should seriously hire more service advisors.

Best Acura dealership in South Cali. We searched and dealt with Acura/Honda dealers across Inland Empire, Orange County and LA. Ended up in Southbay Acura. 70 miles away from our city. Worth the drive! We saved a lot.. other dealers would tell us anything just to get you in their doors. Not these guys in Southbay. Sales rep named Minh won our business due to his honesty. i would actually recommend this dealership.. except that i’m order to have negative impact i have to choose no.. but my review explains everything i wasn’t going to do this.. but in the end my hand was pushed.. i will still continue to bring my vehicle to the dealership and i’m even looking at purchasing another acura in the near future and will probably buy it from here.. for one reason. Noe Perez is an asset to this company and provides exemplary service that just can’t be found elsewhere anymore. He used to be in service but is now in parts.. but even so he has managed to always make my time and money spent here more than worth my while.. This dealership isn’t close to me and i could just as easily goto 2 other places that are more convenient.. but i choose to come here. even after Noe went to parts he recently set me up with a different advisor, Steven Wilson who has carried on that service that i so appreciated.. now, my gripe is this.. everyone’s trying to make ends meet.. i drive a lot because i work a good distance away from home and recently decided to take care of numerous items on my vehicle.. i was given a loaner which was an acura from the dealer that i was told didn’t have any supplemental insurance.. previously i had been given an enterprise vehicle which always offers and i always accept. i have liability because my car is older so anything that happens is out of pocket. the second day of having the vehicle i was driving on the highway and caught a rock to the windshield and cracked it. normally the supplemental insurance would’ve covered this.. i let steven know so that it could be addressed readily prior or by the time i returned it..upon returning the vehicle to the dealership i paid for services which was a pretty good chunk of money.. after steven showed the crack to the service manager he said he was sorry this happened and that they would put together a quote so i could pay it off then and be done with it.. the quote was for $1700.. i asked if there was anything they could do since this was a dealer car not my own and he said they couldn’t discount labor and he did what he could for the windshield which cost $900 on its own from what i was told.. i reluctantly paid the $1700 and left.. at this point i had resigned myself to the situation and moved on. then today Noe reached out to me to ask how my car was and i told him it felt brand new and i was very happy with the service.. i also mentioned my windshield issue and requested that next time i would prefer to have an enterprise instead of an acura loaner because of the supplemental insurance.. he was very sympathetic to my issue and i told him it is what it is.. now here’s the reason for the 1 star.. i was ok with it all i had paid my bills and let it wash.. and then.. i received a phone call and i noticed it from acura.. i was thinking it was steven or noe checking on how the car felt and i was at work and decided to answer.. instead, it was the service manager.. he said.. “i spoke to the GM and was told to call you…..” already a poor way of starting out.. i told him that i would prefer enterprise next time and immediately he said our policies have changed and that can’t be done.. so then i mentioned some kind of supplemental insurance for their loaners and again.. NO.. so i told him.. why did you call me? it’s obviously not to help cause you haven’t offered me a $1700 refund.. and everything i’ve requested as a solve for future interactions has been shot down.. it was like ripping the scab off a wound and letting the blood flow all over again.. he literally just made it worse in every way he possibly could.. he kept trying minimize the damage which was just insulting.. so i told him.. all you’ve done is made this worse than it already was.. i said i was done talking to him and unless he’s calling to give me a $1700 refund i want nothing more to do with him and that i hope he had a wonderful day and i said goodbye and hung up. so to the general manager.. i hope your service manager has better bedside manner when it comes to the next customer he encounters

Since I was there for a safety recall on the brake booster of my Acura RSX, I would have expected the tech to ask me if I experienced any brake problems. Nobody asked. And when they finished inspecting, I expected them to tell me my brakes were ok and safe. They did not say that. Instead, they said, "you're free to go. No leak in the booster." I still wonder if my brakes are safe. I have to assume they would have told me otherwise, but I really don't know and I have remaining doubts that they checked. I am going to a California Certified Lamp and Brake inspector so maybe I will get a clear statement there.

Went to check out a used car that they had that was at a great price. Thanks to Edmunds I was able to narrow down the cars I was really interested in. I was trading in my car and would say they offered me a fair price. Since this is not my first time buying a car I know what to expect. Had my pre approval from our credit union and knew what was the bottom line I wanted to come out of pocket. Came in around 2 pm and left until 7:30 pm. I waited about 3 and half hours to finance. Right when I was leaving the sales man (Alex) gave me one key. I had asked him where the second key was and stated the car only had one. I was defeated because he had told me there were 2 keys when we decided to move forward on the deal. So I felt a bit misleaded by the sales pitch that everything is promised when they are in negotiations. Long story, there is a couple of things they owe my on my due bill including the 2nd key fob. The one star is for the lack of communication after the paperwork has been signed. I have tried calling them several times and let the sales manager know that I need that 2nd key asap. There is no follow through on their communication. I signed on Thursday and they actually came to our house to have my husband sign his part because we just had a baby and didn’t want to deal with 3 kids at the dealer. They had a missing signature and the finance manager asked to have my husband sign and resend it after I was calling them Friday to have them send me the paperwork to send to our credit union to cut the check out. They finally send the paperwork on Saturday to me through email. I let him know to have the sales manager call me about that 2nd key. Move forward to Monday, tried calling to follow up with no avail again. By Tuesday, I pick up the check from my credit union and head to the dealership. I finally got a hold of the finance guy, made them add the 2nd key fob typed bc it was only written by the sales guy before my husband signed his part. I told the sales manager, that all I’m looking for is follow through and communication on when I can expect the 2nd key fob, most importantly. And also the replacement of the navigation screen, and fix the cracked windshield and detail on the car. I said once I know that information I won’t be calling and feeling like I am hounding them. I am very disappointed in feeling like once they sold the car they don’t really care to take care of the things that are due to us. It’s now been a week and have yet to get a call back to update on those appointments to finalize what’s in the due bill. Very frustrated with auto nation and they way the conduct themselves after they sold the vehicle to us. Would not consider purchasing a car from them again. Buyers beware, make sure you get what was promised in writing.

Southbay Acura was a pleasure to deal with over the phone, e-mail, and on site communication. The sales manager did under quote me for my trade in but despite that I still agreed to the price. The problem began in the finance department as it took over 3.5 hours or so to get my paperwork to sign. Not only that, the finance manager messed up the numbers on the contract that I thought would be a problem and was too lazy to reprint and re-do the contract. After several days the General manager calls me for the re-do of the contract so I guess I was right. I had to drive down again for the re-do which came out to less than 2 dollar difference over 60 months. They did however fill my gas again which was about half a tank. The problem is they took over 2 hours again to sort this paperwork. I really hope not to step in the dealership again as I have spent close to 6 hours of my life like I was in a military boot camp processing days. "Hurry up and wait" take your own financing to them or start the process and go to the beach for several hours is my recommendation if you chose to purchase from SouthBay Acura. P.s the finance guy did get fired prior to my 2nd visit but still took so long.

I live in Las Vegas and I contacted this dealership because they had an used BMW X5 that was perfect for me. They drove the vehicle to my mother-in-laws house so she can look and test drive. I was super grateful for them going out of their way. Once I informed them I would be financing outside of the building their demeanor changed. They kept offering me their finance when they couldn’t beat what I was offered and they told me that. At that point the lack of professionalism, lack of communication, and basically lack of respect started. This comes from the sales person, both finance managers, and one sales manager. Once I settled with my credit union and they mailed the check I had to come to my local BMW dealership to sign papers (this was 4 days after the initial contact). When I went to sign the paperwork they sent the wrong purchase agreement, they had the wrong address, and they wouldn’t ship me my car until they had this paperwork. When the local dealership called to tell them they had the wrong information the finance manager tried to tell them it was my fault…when I sent them a picture of my Nevada ID and Insurance company they couldn’t get it right. The next day I called to see if they shipped me my car (which I paid for shipping) they proceeded to tell me because they didn’t have paperwork they wouldn’t ship it. At that point I demanded they shipped my car because they had the check and THEY were the ones that sent the incorrect paperwork. I received a phone call about an hour later and said they shipped my car. I asked for tracking information and they said they didn’t have that. Fast forward 2 days later I called to see if they knew where my car was and they said they had no idea. This was 11 am on a Monday. They said they would call me back. I waited and waited. I called back around 4 pm that day and asked where my car was and they said they were trying to find it. Long story short it was the worst experience of my life purchasing a car and the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with.

Leased a brand new ILX but none of the interior lights and also trunk light worked. My husband personally investigated and found that the fuse for these features was totally missing. Luckily the car was equipped with a spare fuse kit and so we were able to fix the issue on our own. Why was this important part missing in the first place? Why didn't this get caught during the delivery inspection and/or manufacturing process? It's true people make mistakes but how many quality check points did this car go through before being sold to the customer? This incident might be considered a "minor" issue but what if it happened with a more critical component or worse yet a safety feature? I hate to think what else may have been improperly checked and falsely certified. We have been part of the Honda/Acura family for a many years and have come to expect consistent top quality cars & service. However this incident has us disappointed and concerned. Hopefully this is not an indication of any ongoing down turn in quality. Aside from this the dealership reps have been very nice and so far no other issues have been found with the car.

Stock number 1S144785 or 85 Toyota Tundra 2001. There safety checks are very awful. Bought this vehicle used as is and salesman said they did safety and smog. First off the master cylinder was changed fluid brand new. The braking system was not bleed pedal travels all the way down. Also drums and brake shoes are bad also wheel cylinders. Second of all brake lights. Left side and high high mount were blown. License plate bulbs out also. Third the tires lol. They said they were fine and well BS. Tires are 6 years old. State of California says 5 years max. Dry rotting cracks and separations. Acura South Bay please be more thorough on your safety and smog. Make sure your technician know what there doing also. Also educate your salesman and stop them from judging people when they walk on the sales floor. I see this often. I’ve been working for dealers for 25 years.

GM Mitch Merten bent over backwards to get me the car I wanted; could not have been nicer or more professional. Kept me updated throughout the entire three-week process. When my husband and I went to pick up the car, our Sales Consultant, Eric Weston, was great to work with. He had all our paperwork ready and went over everything, answering all our questions. He was friendly and informative and had a great sense of humor...always essential. While Eric showed me the bells and whistles in the car, my husband was off with finance consultant, Olajuwon. As always, my advisor's service, Steven Ravaglia, was second to none! I have purchased 2 Acuras from this dealer and the second one I purchased was because of the service that Steve provides. I was disappointed with the precautions being followed for COVID-19. The seating is not distanced 6 feet apart, the person who came to my car when I arrived, she has her own office, had her mask on below her nose; the lady wiping down the door handles and chairs would alternate between wearing her mask properly and lowering it below her nose; one of the persons in the Parts Dept. did not have a mask on. Someone waiting for his car completely removed his mask and his son's mask. Customers helped themselves to coffee/water, etc. and removed their masks. Maybe this is not the time to offer those conveniences. I realize that everyone is quite busy but this is a time where we cannot afford to be careless. More signs may be required in your facility enforcing masks. Possibly a sign at each advisor's location.

Despite the issues I've had with my Acura CL, Autonation and Kelly have treated me quite well and I would highly recommend visiting their facilities for service and parts. Overall I am giving a 1. My issue is with the transmission program if which is causing my mdx to stall or all the lights on the dash to flash without warning. Danders and the dealer cannot replicate it. I have recently found out that the model has a pending class action lawsuit. I am not safe and will be getting rid of the car.

One star. Do not come here for service! I am posting this on behalf of my friend, who does not have a Facebook account. Yesterday he brought in his Acura for a multipoint inspection. He arrived on time for his appointment and told the car would be serviced and washed in one hour. After returning an hour and a half later, he was told the mechanic had gone to lunch without looking at his car. No phone call, no text to inform him of the delay. Two and a half hours later, the service advisor returned my friend's car, unwashed and after only 15 minutes worth of inspection. The whole experience showed a complete lack of respect for his time (and for only a partial job, at that.) He will never go back here again.

I purchased a 2020 Acura RDX from autonation south bay. Everything was fine till they sold the car to me. the paper work was completed late night. But still pointed out the scratches and marks on both exterior and interior of the car. Dealer promised me it will be taken care and scheduled an appointment the same week. They weren't even able to provide me a loaner. After waiting hours, the car was returned and all scratches and marks were still left in the same position. The manager reassured me that they will fix it and agreed to provide a loaner. They had my car for another one day and the car was delivered to my home but nothing had changed. I pointed it out to the salesman, Gary and send him pictures of the same. He promised me everything will be taken care during the next service. Though it's not time for service, i planned to get this done and now the sales man or his manager wont return my call. The service told me to pay the detailing charge if i need to get it fixed. I was totally sold a new car with so many such defects and false promises that was never fixed upto the customer's satisfaction. I will never recommend this dealer.

Omid Taheri and Hannah Felix were amazing from start to finish. They were super responsive and accommodating. Before I went in to buy a car, Hannah worked with me and my wife to give us numbers and key terms. This allowed us to not waste any time when we went to the dealer to buy the car we wanted. I purposely did not answer the "Quality of repairs" because that is yet to be determined. My service repair representative Sam was great at servicing me and he should be commended for that. He was straight forward with me, honest, and got me out of the service center as soon as possible. That being said, I will never buy another Acura in my life. This car has been constant headache and Acura never fixed anything that I deemed as a defect that should have been covered under warranty. The catalytic converter is the only warranty item Acura has covered. While under the regular warranty, my interior leather fell apart, my automatic door locks malfunctioned, and the rubber insulation on the exterior started falling off. None of which Acura covered. My time with Acura has not been great and won't be purchasing any vehicles in the future.

MDX would not start but after several attempts it did. Brought it to the AutoNation in Torrance. Sam the service representative was excellent and the problem diagnosed and treated. The problem was a clogged throttle body. The throttle body was replaced for about $700.00. I have checked and the throttle body should be cleaned, by some reports, every 30,000 miles. AutoNation has never recommended this as part of a service and I was never made aware of the necessity. What other maintenance requirements am I not doing? My confidence in Auto Nation is at a low ebb.

Hi!! my experience started in july the 14th I bought a used Land Rover from Acura Autonation (2012 range rover sport hse), everything was fine until the next day I noticed a sound coming from the engine, I took the land rover to a shop and for my surprise the mechanic told me it was the timing chain guides. So I took on July the 17th I took the car back to the dealer I spoke to sales manager "Lance" , He call the guy in charge of the repair shop. they took the car to their mechanic one hour later they came with the diagnosis and guess what?!! the diagnosis was the same as the independent mechanic told me, except this time Lance the sales manager said that the land rover has this particular problems from 2010 to 2013 so he said don't worry that they gonna take it to jaguar autonation to have the timing chain replace. I was provided a loaner car ,,,, I waited one week nothing happened so I called the dealer to check on the status didn't received an answer after the second week of waiting had the chance to talk to Lance again, this time he told me they were working in the car and they were gonna call me when ready ... waited one more week and nothing... then I sent a couple of emails to the sales person (Hannah Felix) she replied very quick, she said the service manager Rahi was gonna call me, two days later Rahi called me he said the car was ready, I can pick it up any time. on August the 14th I went their, Rahi showed me the car but I asked him to start the car , for my surprise the land rover still had the problem, I told the service manager that they didn't fix it, his reply was no and we are not gonna fix it, I told him I wasn't gonna take the car then, so he took me to the general manager witch I didn't get his name, he said very upset there is nothing wrong with the car, I told him what his sales manager told me one month ago,,well they took me to financial to buy the car back..I hope this is it, no more surprises, I don't understand why they wait one month to tell me they were not gonna fix the car....just for some info to fix the timing chain on a land rover the dealer charge from $6,000 to$8,000 probably that was the reason...... hopefully they don't find another fool

I've been a loyal customer for a good 6-8 years. I've been taking my Acura TL for every service to this dealer and I've never had a problem until one of my last visits. I went for an oil change and they do the multi point inspection. I also got other services done that day. I was told my car would be ready in about 2 and a half hours. After waiting for more them 4 hours they apologized and said they were really booked that day. It's not my fault they over booked cars and are rushing to get cars out. So finally my family and myself left the dealer and as we are headed home in the freeway I hear a loud noise as I'm driving. I pull over and it turns out my lug nuts were all loose on my front driver side wheel. I had road side assistance come and tighten them up for me. The guy that service my car that day was an accelerator named Jacob Gomez he failed to double check his work and put my kids life in danger as well as mine. Rahi the service manager/supervisor took care of me after that incident, but something like this should never happen in a dealer like Acura. If I waste my time and money driving out there to Auto Nation Acura I expect better service then my local mechanic I have on every corner by my house. I took my 2014 Acura ILX in for an oil change and tire rotation. I have been having a problem with the tire pressure light, so they checked that for me also. Turned out I needed a new battery and a brake light bulb. They called to verify whether I wanted the additional service, which I did. I know it costs more to take my car to a dealership, but I have been pleased with the service and will continue to do so.

Recently bought a used car from AutoNation Acura South Bay and had a horrible experience. From being there for 6 hours trying to get a deal done to finally getting a deal done and finding out there where multiple issues with my used vehicle. After threatening to want to cancel the deal entirely and constantly speaking with different supervisors there I was able to get the work done on my used car. They initially said it would be a couple of days to finish and turned into 2 weeks. Communication was horrible. I thought they didn?t know about the issues with the car but they did. They just didn?t disclose them in advance. The only helping person was a service advisor Noe that assisted as much as he could with keeping me informed on the cars stratus and always being apologetic. I wouldn?t buy from here seeing as they it isn?t any different buying from a place like this or a small dealership. They actually put the car I traded in for sale without cleaning it. I saw an on the pictures they had online of it with an old soda can and trash that was left inside the car.

I’ve been buying cars for the last 30years and this is by far the best buying experience I’ve ever had. My salesman Garry was very professional paid attention to all the details from the price negotiation so there were no surprises when we closed the deal. Same goes for the finance manager in Janet. I am a regular customer at Acura of South Bay. This is ALL and ONLY due in part to the OUTSTANDING SERVICE and EXCELLENT CARE that I always receive from Kelly Gilbertson. Kelly is consistently polite, listens to all of my concerns and truly cares about delivering that A+ customer service.. I also appreciate the mechanics work on my car. To date, everything that they have fixed is still working properly. In a time where there are so many dishonest dealerships trying to nickel and dime you for everything, its nice to find one that genuinely cares about their customers.

I had a very great experience. The service representative was super - explaining what service I would receive on this visit. The timing was perfect right on time as my vehicle was ready when I returned to pick up my car. All the services were performed and my vehicle was washed and vacuumed.

I had an insurance repair that needed to be fixed but waited over a year to address it. Service department got me in loaner went through process trying to get it approved although it was approved a year ago. Insurance denied claim. During this time I was in a loaner for almost 10days. Instead of me having to pay out of pocket for loaner/rental, they worked with insurance company to cover the rental so I did not have to come out of pocket. Kudo's to this service team!

Highly recommend. Very good experience. I didn't have a reservation and the oil change took about an hour on the middle of the day. They checked the other systems at no cost and provided a free car wash. Complimentary coffee, tea, snacks in a nice waiting area.

Love the suv, but im returning it tomorrow. Found the suv has oil leakages, grease all over, underneath. I really trusted auto nation, I like Auto nation, Trusted the organization, dealership. Trusted the friendly salesperson and manager about the car going through a thorough inspection, making sure theres nothing wrong, testing everything, etc, etc... I feel trust has been broken. You threw me a bunch of lies just to sell me a SUV with problems from the beginning. Your mechanics, they didnt see the leak? Fortunately, the only good thing you have is the 250mile and/or 5day 100% refund policy. I feel very disappointed, upset, and problably worse later that you are actually going to sell this suv to any poor smuck who won't check for leakages. MB

Got my RDX on 11/30/17 and I love it! I had a great experience thanks to Hannah Felix! I let her know what I was looking for and my price range. She was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. She showed me what they had, I took my time and saw the cars and I never felt rushed. Most importantly she was very patient with me. I had a tone of questions, especially about leasing or financing, and I mean a lot, and she always answered me with a smile and gave me her full attention. She was also so sweet and very attentive to me and my daughter. After making my decision she told me what would be the next steps, getting all the paperwork sign, and she left me in the hands of Janet Ceballos. Janet, just like Hannah, is such a sweetheart, knowledgeable, and have amazing customer service skills! Both made me feel so comfortable and I truly appreciate that. When I got my key, Hannah showed me how to maneuver all the cool gadgets in my new car. I know its their job to be nice and helpful, but you can always tell who goes the extra mile to make you feel at ease. Thank you!

I took my 2008 TL in for quite a few items to be repaired (100k service). I always take my car there so I know most of the service managers. They're all great and I only have great things to say about them. This time Sherwin helped me out. He was able to save me a bunch of money on the repairs and helped me with an issue I had with a tire. Always a really a great experience.

This place is not the place to buy a new Acura. They're thousands of dollars more than every other dealer I emailed for a price on an Acura MDX. The General Sales Manager at Acura South Bay - Timothy Campfield - is the one who sent me the ridiculous quote. Working with salesman, Gary Arsenault. I can post the entire email here if people want more information. The short story - Campfield emailed me a predatory, totally uncompetitive offer from Acura South Bay that thousands of dollars more than multiple other dealers for a base level 2017 Acura MDX. Even after I called him out on this, Gary tried to blame other dealers for being dishonest. "The other people are ripping you off. Really?" Gary's strategy is to bad mouth other dealers who have better prices. So you don't realize he's trying to steal your money. This place is a joke.

So after several visits and working with the sales staff on obtaining my 2017 TLX AWD we settled on a number and documents were signed for a vehicle they found for me at a sister store. I picked out what was supposed to be a beautiful black copper car with espresso interior. Good thing I had them put in the contract that if the vehicle was not in perfect quality the contract would be void because upon inspection of the vehicle the vehicle was not up to new car quality standards to say the least. Even though having all day to pre deliver prep the car I was expected to be happy receiving a car which had massive swirl marks, water stains, sediment in the paint and trim, what looked like road tar on the lower rear passenger door and smudges on all the windows. The most insulting part was the manager Tim ( I beleive that was his name ) simply looked at the car and said "what seems to be the problem with the car" my jaw dropped. I have been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and to be greeted on a purchase with such a degree of lack of pride in a product and integrity I was left simply sickened and terminated my buisness with south Bay acura. My parents were also picking up a used RDX that same day, of course we didn't bother with that transaction after such treatment. Buyers please do not settle for inferior service. Your money is worth more that this.

We went over the needs, and he explained the service, asking if there were any other concerns.
